Role: Senior Database Administrator

Location: Bengaluru (Hebbal) | Work Model: 5 days working

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable PostgreSQL database architectures
• Optimize queries, indexes, and overall database performance
• Manage backups, recovery, replication, and high availability
• Ensure database security, access control, and compliance
• Handle PostgreSQL-specific administration (WAL, tuning, clusters)
• Perform migrations and manage replication strategies
• Provide L2/L3 production support and routine maintenance
• Monitor databases and proactively resolve issues
• Document processes and support operational excellence

Requirements

• 3 years of DBA experience with strong PostgreSQL expertise
• Hands-on experience with AWS, especially Amazon RDS
• Experience in performance tuning, HA, DR, and replication
• Strong knowledge of database security and access management
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience in fast-paced, production-critical environments
