Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full project lifecycle, from concept development and site surveys to execution, vendor handover, and operations integration.
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), negotiate rates with vendors while adhering to approved budgets, and conduct cost analyses.
- Coordinate with design teams to finalize Capex layout plans, incorporating site-specific requirements and compliance standards.
- Liaise with site SPOCs (Single Points of Contact) during execution to resolve issues, facilitate logistics, and ensure timely resource availability.
- Oversee vendor management, including RFP processes, subcontractor supervision, quality checks, and invoice verification against deliverables.
- Monitor project progress with milestones, risk mitigation, cashflow projections, and reports to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
- Ensure HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) compliance, site readiness, and post-handover audits for smooth operations transition.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years in project management, ideally in retail, F&B, or construction fit-outs (e.g., refrigeration/store setups relevant to Chai Point)
- Expertise in BOQ, rate negotiation, AutoCAD/site survey tools, and MS Project/Excel for planning and tracking
- Strong communication skills for multi-stakeholder coordination (vendors, designers, operations teams) in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with South India regulations, vendor ecosystems, and Capex budgeting in retail expansions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Preferably Civil Engineering), Construction Management, or related field; PMP certification is a plus
